Gemini is Google’s AI chatbot. You can quickly start a chat with Gemini by typing @gemini in the Chrome address bar on desktop. Then write your prompt to start the chat.
Chrome automatically opens gemini.google.com and shows the response to your prompt.
Canva’s Quick Keystrokes ⌨️
I used to think these Canva shortcuts were silly, but now I wish other apps also had them (I’m looking at you, Google Slides).
While editing a design, you can press a letter on your keyboard to instantly insert an element.
Press R to add a rectangle.
Press C to add a circle.
Press L to add a line.
Press T to add a text box.
Sticker Stuff ⭐️
I love to design stickers!
It’s expensive to have them professionally produced, so I make my own. I print on vinyl sticker paper using my inkjet printer. Then my Cricut machine cuts them out. Cricut calls this process Print Then Cut. Read Print Then Cut 101.
There are several different Cricut models at a variety of price points. For making stickers, the Joy Xtra is a good machine. It’s one of the lowest priced models, and it can accommodate full sized 8.5 x 11 sheets of paper.
