iPod Lesson Plans

Apple Lesson PlansApple has collected lesson plans from educators who are using iPods. Those lesson plans are published online. Many of the lessons require an iPod voice recorder attachment. Apple has included sample lesson products you can download as well a PDF to print for the lesson. Here are some short descriptions of the lessons you'll find:

  • iPod Reporters: Students use an iPod and a voice recorder to interview sources for articles for a class newspaper.
  • iPod Audio Tours: Students use an iPod and voice recorder to create an audio tour from a trip to the zoo. They add original music created in GarageBand, and save their project onto iPods for use by zoo visitors.
  • Newcomers Learn Local History: English Language Learners create a presentation about their community and use an iPod and a voice recorder to record it in both English and their native language to share at a family night event.
  • Learning Math with Music: Students create songs for families of math facts and then record their song onto an iPod using a voice recorder.
