Presentations
I'd love to show you more about what handhelds can do for teaching
and learning! Consider attending the conferences at the right
where I'll be presenting
or invite
me to speak
at
your
conference,
school,
or organization.
Since I teach full time, I have limited availability during the school
year. Please email me
for
possible
dates and
fees: learninginhand@mac.com.
Before inviting
me, read more about me here.
Workshops
I
have worked with Janet Caughlin to develop very useful
Palm and Pocket PC workshops for teachers. A
full day workshop consists
of
four modules.
Schools
can mix-and-match modules to fit their needs. The modules include:
Palm
or Pocket PC Basics
Activities for Beginning Teachers
Language Arts
Math
Science
Social Studies
Management
Assessment & Accountability |
These modules
blend handheld technology with effective instructional strategies.
Workshop participants
leave with multiple activities
for immediate use and take
home detailed handouts, including ones to use with students! If you're
interested in booking a workshop for your school or organization
or want more information, please email me:
learninginhand@mac.com.
