Geeky Dad Gift Guide 2017

Geeky Dad Gift Guide 2017

Making your own wish list or buying for others? As technology geek, I've listed gadgets and gizmos that I think would make great gifts. And, scroll down for a few items that my five year twins enjoy. Links on this page are Amazon affiliate links. Purchasing through these links does not cost you anything, but you can help support my website and my gadget habit by making purchases after clicking links on this page.

📉 Speaking of Amazon, the Camelizer extension for Chrome is a handy way to see the price history of any item on Amazon. When you browse the product page for an item on Amazon, the Camelizer icon in your toolbar will be activated. Click it to see the item's pricing history. You can also sign up to be alerted be email when the item drops in price.

🔎 Another helpful tool for shopping on Amazon is Fakespot. Simply paste a URL to a product on Amazon and paste it to be analyzed at fakespot.com. Fakespot looks at verified purchases, grammar, dates, content, and patterns to determine the number of fake reviews for that product. Fakespot assigns a letter grade to the reliability of the reviews.
